This lady's my first post because I took her picture in June, 1969, in Moscow, when Russia was still the Soviet Union. I was using a camera that my father had had when he was in the army in the 1940s. It had a light meter and a very cool brown leather case. Camera, case and meter were stolen out of an apartment in Boston soon after I got back from the USSR. So it's fun to see it the picture here, on the first day of 2010. Celebrating transcendence, resilience, adaptation, resilience. Viva!
